OVER-RIDE FOR LOADING DOOR AND TILT BED

Battery power:

In the event that the battery level has insufficient charge to power the actuators/winch, then a supplementary power supply (jump start pack for example) can be connected to the Anderson connector on the front crossmember. The on-board trailer battery still needs to have enough charge to activate the master relay for the Anderson connector to become live.

Actuator Failure:

In the unlikely event that either of the electric actuators fail, they both have a built-in manual override. To access the override, remove the cover from the end of the motor, invert this cover and re-insert. The cover has a ‘key’ to drive the actuator manually. The cover also has a ‘hex’ formed into it to allow the actuator to be driven using a power tool to speed up the action.

In cases where the rear door actuator has mechanically failed, or for extra security, the door may be secured using bolts from the access panel. Remove the plastic covers from the top corners of the rear door, close trailer, then insert the bolts in the threaded holes indicated below.
